The Alcoscan AL9000 Fuel Cell Breathalyzer utilizes the latest in blood-alcohol testing technology with a lightweight and portable unit that can withstand even the most rigorous of environments. Incorporating gold-standard fuel cell technology which provides a degree of precision so reliable that law enforcement departments rely on it for their needs, the Alcoscan AL9000 is capable of accurately measuring BAC levels ranging from 0.000 – 0.400% with an accuracy level of ±0.005%BAC at 0.050%BAC.
The Alcoscan AL9000 weighs just 100g with batteries inserted (requires two AAA batteries, sold separately). It’s constructed from professional grade materials to allow for maximum durability even with repeated use and incorporates a built-in hand strap to reduce the likelihood of accidental dropping. Simple one-button operation reduces the likelihood of operator error, and the device powers on quickly and is readily available within a matter of seconds. In instances where consecutive testing may be required, the downtime between each reading is less than a minute. Disposable mouthpieces are employed to prevent the spreading of pathogens between users and safeguards against the possibility of contaminating the breathalyzer itself with foreign materials.
Results are displayed in large, bright numbers by way of a backlit LED display and are easily viewable at nighttime. The Alcoscan AL9000 can be synced to a computer via the on-board USB connector and results can be exported to any Windows-based device. It can also be attached to thermal paper printers (sold separately) allowing for printed documentation of test results. Certified by the FDA, CE, DOT, and Australian Standards Association, the Alcoscan AL9000 is the most accurate breathalyzer on the market today and is suitable for all personal and professional needs.
