Description
Mechanical devices such as electrical boxes and motors are capable of producing extreme amounts of heat. This can lead to safety issues such as burns to human operators, as well as excessive wear-and-tear leading to costly and untimely mechanical failure and replacement. In some cases, it may be necessary to know the exact temperature that a specific piece of machinery is operating at to ensure that it’s within acceptable parameters. But other times, a simple visual is sufficient enough to know whether or not a device is running too hot.
A Go/No GO Temperature Indicating Label is an effective and accurate way to measure the current temperature of most any appliance or device. Oftentimes, traditional handheld measurement tools may be cumbersome, and may not be versatile enough to fit in some areas. Each piece of Go/No Go Temperature indicating label comes with a durable adhesive backing that will ensure it stays in place until removed by hand and can be applied to most surfaces that are flat and clean, including in tight and confined areas.
These labels display a temperature range in a familiar green (“GO”) and red (“NO GO”) appearance. When the label is green, the device is running at < 43° C (109.4° F). If the label is red in color, the device is operating at a temperature of > 43° C. The simple visual makes it easy for operators to know at a moment’s glance if the device is functioning at a temperature that is acceptable, and the bright display allows for quick and safe monitoring from a distance.
