When the device is at a temperature that is safe to come into contact with, the label remains solid black. Once the temperature has reached a point of being excessively hot, the label will change to reflect an image of a hand and a flame in bright red coloring, alongside the word “HOT,” signifying that the equipment should not be touched. Once the machine has cooled off to a point of safe handling, the label will revert back to a solid black display.
The adhesive on the label is strong enough to ensure it will stay on most clean, flat surfaces and will stay in place until removed.
