Description
Security sealing tapes provide both a strong, durable way to seal packages, as well as a method to detect and deter tampering with parcels. While the tape can be used to seal packages, including sturdy cardboard boxes, the adhesive quality typically works best as a complement to other, more traditional packing tapes (although the strength is sufficient for use on envelopes and padded mailers). There are no markings or visible qualities that would alert anyone that this is a theft-deterrent product.
These tapes are crafted with a special tampering notification system built in. Once the tape has been cut to size and firmly installed into place, it will look like any other packing tape. However, should someone attempt to remove the tape or otherwise tamper with it, the words “OPEN VOID” will immediately become visible in the surface. This serves as a both a deterrent to anyone attempting to access packages and a way to track accountability should unauthorized access occur.
Security sealing tapes work and adhere just as traditional packaging tapes, and are also great when used on small bottles and document shippers that are meant to remain confidential. Tapes can be trimmed without activating the alert notification system, and are available in different sizes, with customizable options available by request (MOQ applicable for customized sizes/designs).
