Created from durable polyolefin materials that can maintain their grip even in the presence of moisture, rust, or extreme heat, but can also be quickly unattached when the time comes and re-used over and over again.     A No, for SJ3560, its mushroom shaped stem on the surface can act as both a "hook" and a "loop" - the surface of the fastener can actually hooks onto itself.
  2. Q Can it be used on a wall and can it be removed easily after using?
    A Yes, you can attach the adhesive side of the fastener onto a wall. However as the adhesive is quite strong, there is a small chance that it might cause some of the paintwork to peel off when removing the fastener from the wall. If that is a concern, we will suggest attaching it onto a small part of your wall at an inconspicuous spot to test out first on whether the paintwork will peel off easily.
  3. Q What kind of surfaces can I attach the fastener to?
    A SJ3560 has been tested to bond really well with metals (aluminum, stainlesss steel) glass and plastics (acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS). It also works well with other surfaces as long as the surface is clean and smooth
  4. Q Is the behind of the dual lock fastener adhesive?
    A Yes, it has a strong adhesive backing - you just need to peel off the release liner and it is ready to be attached onto any smooth and clean surface.

    A Unless global temperature rises sharply, otherwise there shouldn't be any problem as the max operating temperature for the SJ3560 dual lock reclosable fastener is 104 Deg C.
  6. Q How durable is the SJ3560 fastener?
    A Very durable. It has been tested to have a closure life of 1,000 times - meaning you can open and close it up to 1,000 times before losing 50% of original tensile strength. Which means that after using it for 1,000 times, it is still 2.5x stronger than a new Velcro tape.
  7. Q How does this fastener compares to normal Velcro tapes?
    A Instead of using hook and loop (like normal Velcro tapes), the dual lock reclosable fastener make uses of interlocking mushroom-shaped heads to provide 5x the tensile strength of normal Velcro tapes. Simply speaking, it is 5 times stronger than an ordinary Velcro tape.
